UK Carrier has announced its second generation affordable smartphones and it also continues its naming it’s smartphone after birds. The new offering from the operator are the EE Harrier and EE Harrier Mini. Both smartphones would be available starting April 28th.
The EE Harrier sports a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display, powered by an octa-core Qualcomm snapdragon 615 processor clocked at 1.5GHz, 2GB of RAM, 13MP camera with LED flash, measures 8.9mm thin and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.
It is backed by a 2500mAh battery, supports LTE Cat.4 and the operator’s new Wi-Fi handoff feature which lets users receive calls and SMS over Wi-Fi when cellular connectivity is switched off. It costs £199.99 on pay as you go tariff and free on contracts from £21.99 per month.
The EE Harrier Mini is a reduced form, it sports a 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display, powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2GHz with 1GB of RAM, 8MP main camera with LED flash, 2000mAh battery and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.
The EE Harrier Mini also supports LTE Cat.4 and supports Wi-F Handoff feature. It costs £99.99 on pay as you go and free on contracts starting £16.99 per month.
